Dialogue 3: The Office Argument

Mike: I can’t believe she just walked out of the meeting.

Emma: Yeah, she got really mad when they cut her off mid-sentence.

Mike: Do you think she’ll come back?

Emma: Maybe. If they make up and apologize, she might hold out and stay.

Mike: I doubt it. She’s been frustrated for weeks. It was only a matter of time before she gave up.

Emma: True, but she’s a great employee. They should have listened to her.

Mike: Maybe I’ll talk to her and try to figure out if she’s planning to leave.

Emma: That’s a good idea. If she really wants to quit, maybe we can convince her to stay.

Mike: I hope so. Losing her would be a big mistake for the company.
