Dialogue 3: Planning a Trip

Emma: I want to visit Italy this summer.
John: That sounds great; however, flights might be expensive.
Emma: True. Nevertheless, it’s worth it because it’s my dream destination.
John: I agree. In addition, Italy has amazing food.
Emma: Exactly. In fact, I want to take a cooking class there.
John: Good idea. Meanwhile, we should also plan sightseeing tours.
Emma: Yes, otherwise, we might waste time deciding at the last moment.
John: Right. Therefore, let’s make a schedule in advance.
Emma: Perfect. Consequently, we’ll enjoy the trip without stress.
John: By the way, are you more interested in the north or the south of Italy?
Emma: Both. On the one hand, the north has beautiful mountains; on the other hand, the south has incredible beaches.
John: True. Moreover, each region has its own traditions and food.
Emma: That’s why I want to spend at least two weeks there.
John: That makes sense. However, we must be realistic about our budget.
Emma: I know. Instead, maybe we can skip luxury hotels and stay in guesthouses.
John: Great idea. In fact, guesthouses are often more authentic.
Emma: Exactly. Furthermore, it will give us a chance to practice Italian with locals.
John: Yes, and accordingly, we’ll have a more genuine cultural experience.
Emma: So, shall we start booking flights this weekend?
John: Sure, but let’s compare different airlines first. Otherwise, we might miss cheaper options.
Emma: Good point. Meanwhile, I’ll also check train connections between cities.
John: Perfect. Thus, we’ll have both international and local travel organized.
Emma: I’m already excited. In fact, I think this will be the best trip of my life.
John: Same here. Therefore, let’s finalize everything soon so we can just look forward to it.
