EcoNext, a green tech startup, was divided among two major goals: creating sustainable batteries and developing solar-powered generators. The team was passionate but frustrated with the lack of funding. While their mission was critical to fighting climate change, some were desperate for more investors.

The leadership team was composed of engineers who were fascinated by clean tech and confident about their vision. However, internal conflicts arose. One co-founder, who was clever at coding, felt the team was becoming too dependent upon outside funding. “We must stay faithful to our values,” he argued.
